Expect to catch striped marlin to 300 lbs. Blue marlin average 400 lbs with much larger ones hooked and black marlin average 450 lbs with some going close to 1000 lbs. Pete Santini personally rigged the SEAHANDS, a 33 foot Ocean Master with brand new 200hp 4 stroke yamaha outboards, outriggers, 8 rod holders, fighting chair, Raymarine L1250 pathfinder, chartplotter, GPS, sonar, fishfinder, Paines Wessex EPIRB, 2 VHF radios and a long distance cellphone with aerial antennae that can call the USA. The SEAHANDS is a fish raising machine. A typical charter leaves the dock at 4:30 am and returns between 4:00 and 5:00 pm.
Additional Tours The town is a safe place to walk around and visit all the shops and cafes. Internet is available at the cafes and phone booths are every where. In addition to fishing, there is diving, snorkeling, surfing, nature walks, sight seeing, wildlife viewing as well as a couple of nightclubs on the island. We offer land tours as well to Junco lagoon and the tortoise sanctuary as well as the powder white sand beaches. During the winter months, Pete Santini will be on hand for all tours. He speaks Spanish and can assist you with any communication matters. |
