Captain Shawn Wallace

Growing up on the Great Barrier Reef, Cairns, Australia, fishing and scuba diving with my father on school holidays, was the start to a spectacular life in the Big Game Fishing industry.

My apprenticeship was with Peter B Wright, Ron Hamlin (Capt. Hook), Dennis Brazakka Wallace and Laurie Wright just to name a few in some of the hottest fishing locations in the world.

Now with 27 years experience and 20 Marlin weighed over 1000 lb and 15 released and hundreds of 700 to 900 lb marlin released, the experience needed to catch these big fish is not a problem.

My crew in Canavieiras are all local guys trained by myself on international fishing methods and are the best in Brazil. They love their fishing and their enthusiasm and expertise will just add to your Canavieiras experience.
